Our History

Named With Its Goal in Mind

The school was named with its goal in mind: to achieve excellence. Known as Excellence Schools, it carries the motto "Producing the Best Amidst the Best."

Excellence Schools was established on 28 May 2018 by its founder, Mr. Akeeb Yakub Owolabi. The school began with four teachers, Mr. Akeeb Yakub Owolabi, Mr. Aremu Teslim, Mrs. Semiu Semiyat and Miss Fakunle Karimot Abidemi, and an initial enrolment of just 13 students.

Excellence Schools has since firmly established itself as one of the top schools in the region, with a solid track record of remarkable success and academic excellence, consistently producing outstanding students and leaders.
